Our Work

Trauma counseling, psychosocial support, peacebuilding, human rights advocacy, gender equality, child-friendly spaces, and livelihood programs for survivors of violence and displacement.

Psychosocial Support

Psychosocial Support is at the heart of what we do. It brings together emotional care, social connection, and practical support for people who have lived through conflict, displacement and other difficult life experiences. In many cases, survivors are not only carrying memories of what happened, but also dealing with isolation, loss of family members and uncertainty about the future. We try to respond to that reality in a gentle, grounded way.
We offer safe spaces where individuals and families can speak, be heard, and begin to make sense of what they are going through. Through group sessions, one-on-one counselling, and community-based activities, we help women and children rebuild a sense of stability and belonging. It is not about rushing recovery. It is more about walking alongside survivors, at their own pace, and helping them reconnect with strength they may feel they have lost.

Safe Space for Women & Children

We created this Safe Space as a quiet and welcoming place where women and children can come, sit, talk, create, and simply feel safe for a while.
Many of the families we support have been affected by conflict and displacement. Some carry deep emotional wounds, fear, stigma, and painful memories of what happened to them. Often, these experiences are difficult to explain in words. People learn to stay silent, even when they are hurting inside.
This space was created to remind them that they do not have to carry everything alone.
Every Monday and Thursday, women gather with counsellors for conversations, support sessions, and women’s talks. Some women share their stories openly. Others prefer to listen quietly while sitting with people who understand what they are feeling. Over time, friendships form, trust slowly returns, and many begin to feel a little lighter than before.
Children attend separate sessions on Saturdays and Sundays with social workers through art therapy, drawing, storytelling, and puzzle play. Children often express emotions differently from adults. Sometimes a drawing says what words cannot. Sometimes healing begins during a story, a game, or while colouring a picture beside another child.
The Safe Space is not just a program room. It is a place of comfort, listening, creativity, and human connection. A small place where women and children can breathe, feel supported, and slowly begin to heal in their own way and at their own pace
